New to Church?
Hi, a warm welcome to our church website.
Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about St John's Church, Woodbridge.
Our two Sunday congregations meet at 10.30am and 7pm. We also have other services available during the month, so do take a look at our Congregations page for more details, and to see which might suit you best.
There's no dress code at St John's so just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
We have more information for you specifically if you have a family. Find out more about how we provide for children at St John's on our Children & Families page. And if your children are 11-18yrs then take a look at the Revival Youth pages.
We meet for services at St John's Church, 24 St John's Hill, Woodbridge Suffolk, IP12 1HS, while many of the church's groups and activities are held in the Old Vicarage & Church Hall. If you need to visit the the Church Office it is based in the Old Vicarage, you will find the opening hours and access information on the Contact Us page. The map below will help you find each of these locations.
If you're new to St John's there are some great ways to get involved and meet people.
We occasionally run welcome suppers at the Vicarage for new people to come along and enjoy an informal evening with a meal, a chance to chat to other new folk and hear a bit about what's going on at St John's. Along with Clive and Mary you will get the opportunity to meet and chat to a representative from each congregation, Andy Williams representing the children's & youth work, and a rep from the life group admin team. If you are new to St John's and haven't yet had an invite please do contact the Church Office.
Joining a volunteer team within the church is a great way to get to know people and make friends. The Serving Opportunities page lists all the latest opportunities to serve at St John's.
Attending an Alpha course is a great opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith and get to know some members of St John's. Find out when the next course is running on the Alpha page.
