2017 Christmas Offerings

The Christmas Offerings this year are for Talitha Koum and the Ipswich Soup Kitchen, including the Outreach Bus project. Please click on the bold text for links to their websites. The Christmas Offering will be taken at the Carol Services on 17th December, Christmas Eve Midnight Communion and on Christmas Day. Gift Aid forms are available.

The Talitha Koum Hope Centre shown above, is a few miles north of Ipswich. It was opened for residential rehabilitation in November 2016, ten years after the five girls were murdered. They also provide Aftercare and Recovery Groups.
Ipswich Soup Kitchen
Ipswich Soup Kitchen has been running since 1992. Different groups go to the town each night, providing food, soup, coffee and tea to the homeless and needy. The parallel Outreach Bus project plans to provide a mobile service with a kitchen, seating, and a WC.

Incidentally, the government is currently pledged to double the value of gifts given to both Tearfund and Christian Aid.
