2022-07-05 Big Family day out

For those of you who don’t know, the Big Family Day Out is an event  that Quay Church and St John’s, with some help from the other churches, organised before lockdown. We are so excited to be able to arrange this event again, it is a great way to bless the families of Woodbridge with a morning of fun where everything is free.

As we will be meeting for worship on Kingston field, instead of in church, it would be lovely if we as a church family could each commit to helping in some small way to play our own part in blessing the people of Woodbridge.
Please sign up on the serving opportunities board at the back of Church, you cant miss it it's near the coffee hatch. Who knows, you may have an opportunity to share the Good News with someone as you serve? Do come and join us, it's going to be great!!

Happy Birthday Little Pantry

The Little Free Pantry has been open for one year!  Thank you to those who manage the pantry, checking it weekly and keeping it tidy. A special thank you, too, to all those who very generously keep topping the supplies up. We are so grateful.

We will never know the extent of this witness to our local community, but what a great way to show God's love to others.

COVID update

You are probably aware that local cases of COVID are increasing at the moment.  We just want to let you know that we have been notified of a number of folk in the church family who have tested positive for COVID this week.  There is no need to report your COVID status anymore as the government has removed all restrictions and requirement for reporting. However, we would like to ask that if you are feeling unwell or suspicious that you may have COVID symptoms (however mild) please stay away from church and join us online instead so we can reduce the spread further.

We really hope and pray for all of you who have symptoms this week and in the weeks to come that you will recover quickly and your symptoms remain mild.  Thank you for helping us look after and care for each other as we learn to manage this new disease as part of our daily lives.
