We give thanks that God has met with us, and pray that God would meet our families, friends and neighbours. We pray for Fresh Encounter and Alpha in September.
8th you are stopping them working
We pray for people who are busy, that they would be able to pay attention to God’s truth in the midst of their busy-ness.

Week 2 Acts 9: 10 - 19
11th a disciple in Damascus [NRSV]
We pray that God will build up disciples in every town and village.
We also pray for Matt and Polly Freer (CMS), that their work would produce disciples in many places.
12th The Lord called to him …
We pray that God would be active in calling people, and that they (and we) would have ears to hear and courage to act on that call.
Pray for those who minister in St Johns – especially Dave, Martin, Lorna, David, Jeremy, and Robin.
13th I have heard many reports about this man
We pray for public figures, that they would find friends to help them hold onto the reality of their lives and not believe the publicity.
Pray for the media, especially locally.
14th ‘Brother Saul’ … [and] something like scales fell from his eyes
We pray for words to speak to the individuals we meet, that scales may fall from their eyes and they may enter more deeply into the life that Jesus offers.
15th he regained his strength
We pray for rest and refreshment for carers of all sorts.
Pray for those in residential homes in this area.
We also pray for those who are holidaying in this area.

Pray that God will help us to know, regard and keep his law.

Pray for all those going to Soul Survivor.

21st The heads of all the families gathered…
Pray for the “heads” of our households that they will be guided by God in all that they do.
Pray that they will have servant hearts, striving to do their best for those they have a responsibility for.
22nd The Law which the Lord had commanded
God gave his law as guidelines for the running of society - honouring him and each other. Sadly many have strayed from his law with disastrous consequences for the society in which we live.
Pray for a return to God’s values and that we can demonstrate something of God’s love and concern for everyone.
Pray for the services on Sunday, for the riverside service and Café Church at Costas.

Jesus should also be a staple part of our life.
Pray for those who plant and grow and harvest food for our use.
26th “This is my body, which is for you…”
God gave everything to bring us back to him.
Give thanks to God for Jesus, for his death on the cross that bridged the gap between sinful man and righteous God.

A covenant is a binding relationship.
God saves those who believe in Jesus, through the shedding of his blood.
