Welcome to Form Woodbridge.
St John’s Church Woodbridge is pleased to announce the start of FORM in September 2008.
Form is a gap year course in discipleship and leadership for 18-30s. Form was first established at St Thomas Crookes, Sheffield (www.sttoms.net). This course has been very successful and has seen many dedicated young adults serve God for a year. Our course runs from September 2008 - June 2009.
Basics of the Course here at Woodbridge:
Grounded in reality by working part time: We give you two full days of training a week whilst you spend the remainder working in the world and putting what you learn into practice. This is a key part of your training and having a part time job enables you to support yourself.
Providing experiential learning: Being apprenticed by church leaders runs alongside great teaching. We are all about learning practically and socially: head knowledge worked out in our lives everyday.
In a growing missional church: As a church we long for people everywhere to meet friends, magnify God and make disciples. By being part of this, you get to journey with us through a year and become an integral part of the church community and the work we do.
form: A new model of discipleship and leadership training. It's a year dedicated to working out what it means to be a disciple of Jesus in today's contexts.
Here at St John’s Woodbridge we believe that God wants to impact many lives and see the kingdom increase within the rural setting.
