Alpha

We run regular Alpha Courses during the autumn to help people learn about the Christian faith in an informal and sociable environment. Evenings start with a meal followed by a video and discussion in very small groups.

Cassette tapes are made of all the Sunday services and are available to borrow from the library in the Church Office for about six months.

Members of St John’s are involved in Sunday worship once a month and in a range of other activities at Hollesley Bay. (Contact Peter Skevington 387042).

Link Up

Enabling women in local churches to get together to develop friendships and invite friends - meeting alternate Mondays at 7.30 pm usually in the Old Vicarage.

Pastoral Committee

Healing Prayer Ministry Group

Available to pray with people for God's healing of physical and related problems after services or at home.

Just42

Just42 is a charitable Christian Youth Work Trust serving the Farlingaye High School catchment area. During the week several different groups are run by Just42 including BOYS, OTS, Girls Night and Games Club in Woodbridge, J.A.D.’S in Hasketon and Grundisburgh Café.

Prayer

All are welcome to join a time of prayer at 9 am on weekdays in the church. Items for prayer and thanks can be entered into the prayer book at the back of church any time.

Residential Homes

We take regular monthly Communion services at Highlands and Suffolk Place, and can take home Communion to those who wish it. (Contact Church Office)

Small Groups

A special feature of our Church, where small informal groups meet every week for prayer, Bible study and fellowship. New members always welcome. Information at side of church.

An extensive range of activities and events for children and young people.

Junior Church (Sundays during 9 and 11am services) :

Revival Youth Congregation:

Cells (Sundays during 9 and 11am services).
Small groups of people you can get on with, and the chance to explore
what it means to be a Christian, chat, make friends, pray, look at the
Bible etc. Year 7 upwards. Meet in the Church Hall.

Vision (Every second Sunday evening at 7.00 pm)
A monthly youth service in church geared towards and run by young
people. Focusing on worship and relevant teaching.

Open House (One Sunday each month at 7.30pm)
An ideal opportunity to get to know each other more.

Rock Solid (Fridays 6.30-8.30 pm)
For school years 7-10. Play stations, games, music, tuck shop, food, trips and
talk about God stuff etc. Meet in the Church Hall.

20s and 30s Group

We enjoy fun, friendship and food. Socials are held alternate Friday evenings, and include bowling, cinema, BBQs, takeaway and games evenings. We also meet up with people from other churches in the area.
