School Assemblies

A team from St John's Church is fortunate to be invited into three primary schools in the Woodbridge catchment area.

Two or three times a year they present an assembly with a Christian message and finish with a prayer that the school is invited to make their own by saying "Amen" at the end. The assemblies always contain a fun activity connected with the theme, this usually involves some of the children being called up to the front to help out. There is always a bible based story told to the children, and sometimes props are involved to bring the story to life.

Through these assemblies St John's is able to connect with the school and bring the message of Christ in to the whole school, including the staff. It is also an opportunity to advertise Holiday Club and other kid's activities at St John's. The response has always been very positive- even when we got offsteded!

If you would like to invite the team from St John's to give a school assembly please contact Andy Williams or the Church Office.
